(SI Newswire) (NEW YORK) Portfolios with Purpose ("PwP") today announced the launch of PwP Mini Games, customizable stock-picking contests that are based on PwP’s annual competition, where professional and amateur investors compete to raise money for their favorite charities.

PwP’s Mini Game structure allows individual groups – including business schools, companies, organizations, and informal groups of colleagues and friends – to customize their own stock-picking competitions. Whether paired with a training program, used as a lead-up to an important corporate event, or provided as a way to emphasize causes that are central to the firm, organizing a Mini Games contest can help enrich corporate culture, bring people together in a competitive but friendly atmosphere, and raise money for important causes.

Stacey Asher, Founder and CEO of Portfolios with Purpose, said, “We are pleased to launch a new variation on our traditional, year-long stock picking competition, which will allow participants to design contests that are unique and tailored to their own organizations or groups. Our goal at PwP is to bring people together in a fun, competitive environment to raise money for charities, and with Mini Games, we are excited to provide yet another way to encourage philanthropic giving. We invite every type of investor – from beginners to seasoned professionals – to join PwP and help make a difference.”

PwP unites the general public with some of the world’s most renowned investors in an effort to bring global awareness to impactful philanthropic causes. Since 2012, PwP has raised $480,000 for significant national and regional charitable organizations, including Project Ore, Camp for All, Light in Africa, Skills for Sudan, and the American Cancer Society. Investors of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to enter the contest by going to http://www.PortfoliosWithPurpose.org.
